Hive Straps are used to hold your bee hive together. Bee hives are susceptible to toppling over in strong winds, rain that causes soft ground, or just when they get too high with added honey supers. The hive strap holds your bee hive together with its bottom bottom board, brood box, supers, and lid. If you use a hive strap it will ensure that your hive and bees don't fall apart, which could cause you to lose the hive.
